I have a real passion for complementary therapies (I’m a reiki practitioner and aromatherapist as well as a trained mindfulness guide) but I often see unsafe and unfounded advice online from people who have no science to back up their claims surrounding their offers. I have had the incredible opportunity to dive deep into medical science in my job as a specialist nurse.
My Masters degree in medical science has provided me with a deep understanding of how to appraise the research and evidence presented around health care approaches. Whilst I understand that somethings can’t be explained by science I also love to geek out on the science to support health care and well being practices.
I don’t believe anyone should be judged or called out for their health care choices. I believe there is always a middle way. A way to bring science and spirituality together to heal and grow.
